After a year of Hibernation, busted knuckles, welding burns, Hours and Hours of research and development, hours and hours in front of a computer, carpal tunnel, six bottle of Visine, and about a million energy drinks we are back baby!

Big things! have and are happening over here with the AKDBuilt Team. 

First off, New Website! but you know that already because you are already here reading this but we are excited and proud so just let us have this moment and act surprised ok?

Next is our New line of Billet Differentials in Wagon and CR-V formats with our new Torque Sensing Torsen LSD's. Want to talk about performance? Here are a few specs: 

The Wagon differential is made based on scans of the original Wagon differential Carrier and rear Cover. Sourced by our close friend @Al_Buntueng this combined effort between @PlatformAerospace, an ISO9100 Aerospace Manufacturing facility and @AKDBuiltPerformance we have created a new design offering many new features to add performance handling capabilities and reduce weight. Saving a whopping 6lbs in the new design this 7075 T6 Billet Aluminum Differential can handle anything you can throw at it! Allowing the fitment of all OEM Bearings and Seals this high performance replica is designed to replace all OEM Wagon differential units and offer a clean, practical, easy to source product that can be used with OEM internals or our aftermarket internals. Versatility, Practicality, Efficiency, Performance and Precision were used to design this new marvel of technology. This differential is a suitable replacement and performance upgrade for any 4WD Honda Drivetrain.

Our new Pinion shaft is one of a kind. It's a modular design allowing 1 Pinion shaft to be used with 2 different gear ratios 2.545:1 and 2.529:1 ratio with matching Ring Gear. Each Shaft Gear and Ring Gear are matches and fit onto the Pinion Shaft allowing even tolerances to be set with ease. This system is designed to be "quick change" allowing for clean, quick and accurate gear changes to meet multiple types of functional configurations. The Pinion Shaft, Gear and Ring Gear are 8620 Carbon Steel receiving a 60HRC Heat Treatment after receiving precision machining by 3D Berg LTD

Rear Torsen LSDs are extremely versatile offering the world's first modular LSD on the market. These Torsen LSD's are available with 23/25/27 spline options allowing the use of CRV, Wagon or Single Cam and B Series CV Axles to be used or our new custom 912 CV Axle Flanges. This LSD is made from a Billet steel construction for the body and lids with 60HRC Heat Treated 9310 Steel Allow Gears for extreme durability and efficiency. The entire assembly is designed based on an OEM wagon Open Differential with a heavy duty construction allowing power handling upwards of 1000hp. These Torsen Torque Sensing differentials allow a practical approach to performance for Street/ Strip/ Off-road vehicles while maintaining a quiet operation on and off the road. The CRV layout is slightly different but you get the idea. They are BAMF's plain and simple and are less than you would pay for a rusty crappy stock one and have someone rebuild it, and bedazzle it. 

What about the Viscous Coupler you say? Funny because that is coming too!!!!

Don't forget about our V1.5 Subframe and trailing arms, Built for the no compromise type who want things like proper axle alignment, strength,  reliability and not going around a corner and dying from snap oversteer. These are currently in production and ready to go!
